Other requirements applicants MUST complete prior to admission.
For unconditional admission to the TESL program, one year of a second language or equivalent proficiency and completion of an introductory course in linguistics is required.
An introductory linguistics class. If not completed prior to admission, students must pass ENGL 361 before completing the first year of the program.
Evidence of study of a single second language: 1 year of college study, 2 years of high school, or the equivalent. If not completed prior to admission, students must pass 1 year of college study of a single second language before completing the program.
