Admissions Requirements

  • Completion of a minimum of 36 semester hours, with at least 12 semester hours in residence at SCSU.

  • Grades of C or better in ENGL 191 and CMST 192.

  • Must participate in a STEM Education Admissions Event to assess student skills in writing and oral communication as well as student dispositions.

Notes

2.75 The Liberal Education Program (LEP) incorporates the ten goals of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. LEP must be satisfied by completion of all ten goals and achieve a total of at least 40 credits. Completion of major courses allows for a waiver of 8 credits from goal area 3 and 4 credits from goal area 4. ED 431, IM 422, STEM 420 and SCI 420 are co-requisites. ED 421, ED 451, STEM 421 and SCI 430 are co-requisites.
