Students interested in this accelerated track should meet with their advisor by their third undergraduate year. To be accepted into the accelerated track, students must get permission from their advisor, and apply to the Graduate School. If accepted, students receive permission to start taking graduate courses in their fourth year. After the fourth year, students formally graduate with their undergraduate degree and transition to full-time graduate status.
Admission requirement for Biological Science M.S.: Successful completion of a minimum of 32 undergraduate credits in biology and 8 credits in chemistry. Students should contact a faculty member within the department and identify a Graduate Advisor willing to sponsor them on a thesis project.
