Program Description
Business intelligence is the process of analyzing and transforming data to information or knowledge to help better decision-making. It covers online analytical processing, data mining, data warehousing, text mining, and so forth. The Business Intelligence (BI) Certificate Program is designed to prepare individuals to have advanced and specialized knowledge and skills in Business Intelligence and related areas. Students need to finish three courses among four courses; IS 301 Information Technology in the Entrepreneurial Organization, IS 434 Data Analytics, IS 443 Business Database Design and Security Management, and IS 485 Business Process Analytics.
