Program Description

Business intelligence is the process to analyze and transform data to information or knowledge to help better decision- making. It covers online analytical processing, data mining, data warehousing, text mining, and so forth. The Business Intelligence (BI) Certificate Program is designed to prepare individuals to have advanced and specialized knowledge and skills in Business Intelligence and related area. The program consists of three courses from the Department of Systems; IS 443 Data Modeling with Database Implementation, IS 450 Information Technology, Strategy and Management, and IS 454 Decision Support Systems.
