Degree Map

Be Advised
Science Electives (10 credits): Students must complete 7 credits of science courses from ASTR, BIOL, CHEM, or PHYS. Students should select one Goal Area 3 course.
Math Electives: Earn at least 6 credits from: MATH 222, MATH 320, MATH 304, and STAT 321.
Software Engineering Electives: Earn at least 9 credits from: CSCI 221, CSCI 450, SE 276, SE 412, SE 413, SE 450, SE 466, SE 477, SE 478, SE 482.
Note: Students can take upper level (400 level) courses after completing MATH 271, CSCI 201, and SE 250 with a grade of C- or better, and with GPA within the program of at least 2.5.
Students must complete 3 credits of SE 444.
All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 120 credits to graduate.
All SCSU students must have at least 40 credits of 300/400 level courses to graduate.
All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 40 credits of Liberal Education courses AND meet the requirements of all 10 goal areas, including RIGR and Diversity.
Apply for graduation one semester before you plan to graduate.
