Spanish BA

Produce oral Spanish at a minimum of an Intermediate-High level of linguistic proficiency by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL).

Analyze authentic sources of information in Spanish and respond meaningfully in writing at an Advanced level of proficiency.

Apply knowledge of Spanish as a system to be able to successfully engage in new contexts in professional and personal life.

Compare and differentiate cultures within the Spanish-speaking world.

Evaluate information from diverse cultural perspectives to successfully navigate intercultural contexts with a critical awareness of one's own culture.
