Apply knowledge of processes, differences and disorders of human communication and swallowing.

Integrate current principles and methods of prevention, assessment, and intervention for people with communication and swallowing disorders.

Implement ethical standards, evidence-based practice, and professional practice standards.

Employ communication (oral and written) for professional practice.

Execute ethical, and culturally responsive assessment and intervention methods in a variety of settings across the lifespan reflecting the full scope of American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) practice areas.

Apply effective interaction and personal qualities during clinical practice as specified by ASHA and interprofessional team-based collaboration.
