Program Description

Students who pursue a minor in African studies will gain a deeper awareness of the cultures of Africa, its issues and its institutional systems. You'll be able to link the knowledge you gain in the minor's diverse classes to develop a clearer, more complete picture of life on the African continent. You can choose a study abroad program in South Africa or Ghana. You'll be a part of efforts to find new links to academic programs in Africa and of the expanding global education mission of the university.
