Be Advised
Semesters 1-4 are completed as part of the students Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program. Course work is spread out over summer, fall and spring semesters.
BIOL 202 + 204 can substitute for BIOL 103.
Semesters 5-9 is the MLS Portion of the program.
An approved organic chemistry course and MLS 499 are usually taken prior to starting program.
All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 120 credits to graduate.
All SCSU students must have at least 40 credits of 300/400 level courses to graduate.
All SCSU students must complete a minimum of 40 credits of Liberal Education courses AND meet the requirements of all 10 goal areas, including RIGR and Diversity.
Apply for graduation one semester before you plan to graduate.

Seek advice from advisor UMN requires MATH 211 OR 221, and STAT 239.
BIOL 366 + BIOL 478 can substitute for BIOL 202 + BIOL 204.
MLS Electives: Elective courses are chosen in conjunction with the MLS program director and are designed to optimize the student's application for a specific clinical internship program. See advisor for additional electives.
Clinical rotation sites have varying number of credits to complete the rotation, which can add to the 120 credits required for program completion.
