Basic principles, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions. 15% Dosage calculation, methods of administration. 10% Nursing process, nursing interventions, patient education, prioritization relating to pharmacology. 15% Pharmacotherapeutics, drugs in pregnancy and breast feeding, drugs in pediatrics, drugs in gerontology. 10% Patient centered care, safety, quality, collaboration and teamwork as it relates to pharmacology. 10% Cultural considerations, legal and ethical issues in nursing and pharmacology. 10% Computer technology and informatics use in pharmacology. 10% Research, evidence based practice, genomics in pharmacology. 10% Prototype drugs. 10%
