Students will describe concepts, principles, and theories of physical geography.

Students will test hypotheses, analyze and interpret data, draw inferences and conclusions, and identify further questions for investigation in this class.

Students will recognize the human nature of the scientific enterprise and will evaluate societal issues from a science perspective, question the evidence presented, and make informed judgements about these issues (e.g., climate change of water pollution issues).

Students will use the scientific method to carry out experiments.
