Illustrate the use of groundwater models through presentation of examples from the literature.

Analyze a groundwater problem for processes and components that can be simulated using computers. Determine necessary inputs and desired outputs.

Develop basic numerical models of groundwater flow for a variety of simple groundwater scenarios.

Create an analytical groundwater model using professional groundwater software. Describe the appropriate uses and required input information needed for the modeling packages.

Obtain and organize data needed to develop conceptual hydrologic models and to calibrate and evaluate model results using real-life resources.
