Description
Assessing and managing behavior problems in the classroom. Functional assessment, schoolwide positive behavioral supports, cognitive strategies, and crisis prevention. Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) standards and behavior links to culture and language. Working with families via a Behavior Intervention Plan using evidence-based practices that address issues of marginalization.

Conduct a functional behavioral assessment (FBA) including consideration of the forms and functions of behaviors, context in which behaviors occur, and antecedents and consequences of behaviors.

Apply different theories of behavior to student situations, differentiating for students with disabilities, students who are English Language Learners, students who are culturally and linguistically diverse, and students from other diverse contexts.
