Identify and assess major physical and/or human characteristics of the geography of area/region/country toured, including: i) physical geography and landforms; ii) distribution of population; iii) political divisions, organization and institutions; iv) economic factors and/or; v) cultural/historical/social features.

Research an important historical or contemporary issue/event/process in area/region/country toured, applying concepts presented on the tour and/or in the course reading materials.

Actively and positively participate and contribute in all aspects of the educational tour, showing respect for their fellow travellers and tourists and the university and program they represent.
