Implement and apply existing or self-designed numerical algorithms to solve problems related to: finding solutions of equations in one variable, approximating derivatives, approximating definite integrals, and constructing curve fitting models such as polynomial and piecewise polynomial interpolants.

Analyze and compare numerical algorithms in terms of accuracy, efficiency, stability, and/or convergence.
