Description: Practical learning experiences (300 hours) in a hospitality and tourism services setting involving leadership, planning, management or operational experiences.
Credits Note: Students may participate in several field experiences. Individual experiences/activities may vary in magnitude and duration.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of 15 credits within the HTSM major. Permission of field experience supervisor.

Student Learning Outcomes

1. Expand understanding, experience, and skills, while building relationships and professional connections (networks) within the Hospitality and Tourism industry.
