ECE 471. Digital Signal Processing

Description: Components of DSP system, discrete-time signals and z-transform, Fourier analysis (FFT), FIR and IIR filter design methods, and quantization effects. Computer projects and simulations. Additional project required for graduate credit.
Prerequisites: ECE 301 and ECE 323

Student Learning Outcomes

1. Analyze and design digital filters.
2. Analyze and solve basic problems in the digital signal processing area.
3. Analyze digital signal using spectrum analysis method with MATLAB.
4. Design digital filters with different methods by using Matlab/Simulink.
