MME 303. Fluid Flow and Convection

Description: Basic principles of fluid statics and dynamics, including conservation of mass, energy, and momentum. Dimensional analysis and the Buckingham PI Theorem. Bernoulli's Law and application to steady state and dynamic problems. Convection, and boundary layer problems.
Prerequisites: MME 201 or MME 202, MATH 327 or (MATH 325 and MATH 312)

5. Calculate heat convection in internal and external flows.
