Program Description

As a radiologic technology student you will learn how to work closely with patients and how to take conventional clinical X-ray images. You will be educated in anatomy, patient positioning, examination techniques, equipment protocols and radiation safety. After graduating you may specialize in one or more specific techniques such as bone densitometry, interventional radiography, computed tomography, mammography, and magnetic resonance imaging. The St. Cloud State radiologic technology program does not include any training in sonography (ultrasound imaging).
