Introduction. What is travel writing and how does it differ from other forms of journalism. 10% Who are the travel writers? Service-oriented, investigative, blogger/vlogger, food and wine writers. 10% How to find great story ideas. Organizations, familiarization (FAM) trips. 15% Travel writer guidelines. Proposals, contracts and copyrights. 10% Writing query letters. 10% Researching your stories: primary and secondary sources. Researching your audience: motivations, interests, markets. 15% Becoming a travel writer: getting your work published. 15% Travel photography. 15%
